My name is Betty.

I need a new home where I can run around.

I would like to be with another dog, or two, or ten! But... I'm perfectly fine left alone in the yard with a toy or two.

I've never been in a fight, or shown aggression toward any animal or human. I am a sweet, happy, overgrown puppy. Some people think I look like I am part Pitbull, but I'm not. I am part Boxer, part Chow, and part Rhodesian Ridgeback.

I'm great with other dogs and kids 6 and up (I'm a little to rambunctious for the toddlers). I have never harmed a kitty cat or any other animal, but I might chase them if they run. I love to play, play, play. Oh, and I don't dig holes - I'm good in a yard unsupervised.

I am a good watch dog for people who go to work in the daytime, and a good playmate to welcome you home! I only bark when there's something to bark at - it's not something I do excessively. My neighbors like me very much!

At my last check up, the doc said I was in "perfect health". I weigh about 82 pounds and I just turned 5 years old. Right now I live outside because mom's not home enough to properly potty train me, but someone who likes to hang out around the house wouldn't have too much trouble potty training me. I am a good learner, especially if you have treats for me!

I can catch balls in my mouth from up to 20 feet away, and I chase my tail on command! Sometimes it makes me dizzy!

My mommy has to spend more time working, and regretfully has less and less time to spend with me, so she wants to give me to a home where I have company, hopefully other canines or kids! But most importantly, an owner who can spend some time with me.

I'm always happy, in a good mood, and wanting to be around people and dogs. I LOVE to play ball with children who are big enough that I won't hurt them if I accidentally jump on their toes.

Oh yeah, I like to go for car rides! I howl at sirens, but guess what?!? When the ice cream truck comes by, I try to sing along!

So if you're looking for a fun, active dog who adores other dogs and can watch the yard or property, I am your new best friend!
